Komal rice is local variety of rice from the North Eastern state of Assam and it has some magical properties. It is popularly known as the magic rice of Assam. It is famous for its zero cooking characteristics and requires only the addition of warm water or sometimes even warm milk. Komal chawal, meaning soft rice, produced by brown rice parboiling of a low amylose rice variety chokuwa, is a a healthy breakfast staple diet in a busy urban lifestyle.

It is available in 500 gm pack. It needs to be keep in cool dry place.
